Cerberus is a mythical beast in Greek mythology. It is commonly portrayed as a multi-headed dog protecting the gates of the underworld. In some myths, Cancerbero has three heads, while in others it can have a maximum of nine separate heads. The word "cancerbero" is additionally used to refer to a fierce and unyielding protector.
